Schools go solar

The Lincoln Park Zoo, Muslim Association of Greater Rockford and 14 Chicago-area schools received grants from Commonwealth Edison Co. and the Illinois Clean Energy  Community Foundation (ICECF) to support the installation of solar photovoltaic electric generation systems.
The two organizations distributed about $200,000 in grants this year, according to CNNMoney.com.
